For the benefit and enjoyment of the people

Yellowstone National Park.

That's what the entrance says, the world famous sign stands above you at the north entrance and proclaims that the world's first national park (1871) is there for the enjoyment of all - and that's certainly what it does.

From thermal hot springs (like Iceland) through to a Canyon (far smaller than the Grand one!) to thermal springs and scorching hot Geysers. It really has everything! A large part of the day was taken up shooting some scenic panoramas, see below for some of the best...

They vary from bison on roads, to the thermal 100 degree plus geysers and thermal pools of Yellowstone. Our monntain cabins located on the edge of Gardiner, a small town just over the border with Montana were spectacular and are in the first photograph.
